Just days away from Vancouver 2010.

Philippines is NOT probably the biggest fans of the quartet-annual sporting event for the Winter Season because Philippines is NOT familiar with the sporting event, mainly the sports that are usually taken in every Winter Olympic Game. So, to show my appreciation to the upcoming 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, BC, Canada, and being a fan of JibJab, I must show you my support to the Games, although I am in the country where these games aren't popular but it will telecast it LIVE. So here it is, my first JibJab video relating to skiing, one of the main sports in the Winter Olympics and winter fun. Enjoy. That's for today.Keep believing in yourself.

Dealing with "Series of Pain".

"I am now living and having experienced this tiny world seventeen years ago from now and there will be many years to proceed but those early experiences in my life made it difficult to my own family due to what I am experiencing now."

2002, two years after the 21st Century arrived in the year 2000, it was totally a great year for me, I assumed and commemorated. I received a lot of recognition throughout the school campus and divisionwide. Yeah, I was the star pupil that year in third grade. I wanted to make my parent proud that year but not enough to garner the first honor merit. So, I brought a lot of books that I needed as in EVERYDAY I brought it behind my backpack to impress them so that I can study and prove that I can make a difference but instead of having a good result, it turned into reverse psychology. It's pretty much hereditary, my dad told me. From his family background way back fifty years ago from now, his family had a serious condition relating the spinal cord area. I was truly conscious of myself that I may have what my grandmother had, who was deceased three years time. I always observed that when I go to the bathroom and take a bath, I truly observed that my left portion of my back is way larger than the other being. My mother said, it just that I have more air in the part because I always sleep blanketless. It satisfies the reasoning in my point of view but everytime I age in everyday I live, it gets worse and worse. Intellect wise, I need to have a will on myself not think of it and instead study and gain more knowledge towards learning.

October 2007, My mother and I went to the Philippine General Hospital, to make sure what's happening and to avoid suspicions. It was founded out that I have "Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis". It was totally horrendous. I am dealing with it, for... I don't know. It's years.

I am too wimp to endure this sicked scoliosis. I am dead serious. If you want to switch lives with me, you will experience a great amount of loss of breath suddenly, you know why? Because my respiratory system, digestive system plus my ribs in my skeletal system is truly compact. Seriously. That's why I don't have the condition to run, to digest firmly et cetera.

In addition, I am also dealing with Goiter, I just wonder when will my life go reversed. From miserable to anointed. I just saw tonight's episode of the 700 Club Asia and a man who had Scoliosis gave another second chance to live through miracles. I just want that to happen as well. Maybe it has to done with religion and faith in God.

So that, I will continue to pursue great habits of studying again. It's not the same when I was in the elementary and High School days since I founded out that I have 55 degrees bended on my back. It's totally hard to experienced it. You thought that in my everyday life it's normal. No, it's truly not. I totally want to be NORMAL someday. The life never ends, it keeps going and going. It's a cycle.

Quote of the day: " The life never ends, it keeps going and going. It's a cycle."

Having a Little Blush on Celebrities Lately...

On the last decade, people usually have their list as their crushes of that said decade. You can mention Britney Spears' name, or Angelina Jolie or Jennifer Lopez. They were totally the dream girls of those men around the world, but this decade has been lopsided all-around. How can you imagine that in this point of time, I am kinda bit obsessed with international celebrities these days.

Well, if you deeply know me, as a person, I am NOT the type of person who mingles with celebrities or following their footsteps through watching them in their shows or going to their gigs and happenings. Of course not but looking at their faces, looks, and image, they are totally look fantastic and followable. I must say, it looks stupid to follow Taylor Swift on Twitter without liking her music because I am more of a Brit Pop and Alternative listener, not an obsessed country listener like most people do most of these days due to her superb influence. Now, I started to watch her video blogs on MySpace and everything, it's just because she is the only music icon that I know who truly loves to share herself to the world freely, not everyone else who doesn't want to socialize with their fans. That's what I loved about her.

Well, she doesn't use Twitter much and follows well-known people but that's just okay, we are just humble fans of hers. It's just that every time I logged-in on every site that I am into, then afterwards, sleeping... Suddenly, I will receive a dream from my imagination of her. Some horrendous, sometimes not, that's what dreams supposed to mean. Again, not a fan of her musicality due to genre preferences. Quite frankly, Blonde people are not in my preference too but she is just totally gorgeous, that change my point of view about blonde people after all. Also, she has followers of approximately two million. That is ten times the many as my city that I am currently living in, also, the many as the citizens in Manila alone. Wow!

I just don't know why am I so obsessed with women that I totally don't recognized a lot. Maybe a great influence of television and Internet will do. Oh well, continue to dream, Ralph. Someday, you will have your crush beside you and have a day with her. Keep dreamin'.

Goodbye Slime in 2009, and Hello Jammin' in 2010.

***This following blog was actually written on Facebook on New Year's Eve at 10:05 P.M. (GMT +8)***

Start: 10:05 PM

Well, what a year that was in 2009 probably in the world and in my own experience. There are many things occurred in this year that focused every humankind's attention. Yes, I will summarize them all to you what exactly happened in the year 2009.

First off, we kicked 2009 with a bang by Barack Obama's inaugural speech to be the first Black American President of the United States and to be the 44th President. It is truly part of the history and it was a glorious moment last January 20.

Also, who will forget the H1N1 Epidemic that hit last April in Mexico and after two months, it killed 6, 500 people all over the world including minimum of 50 people killed here in the country.

Also, in this year, we have seen the greatest loss, not only in the music industry, but in the world of humanity. Michael Jackson passed away on June 25 due to cardiac arrest in his house at Los Angeles, CA. The person who truly missed by 6 Billion people around the world. This widespread of love again occurred and the last time this happened was when Elvis Presley died.

On this year alone, more than 60 personalities died this year, including former President Cory Aquino, Sen. Ted Kennedy, Billy Mays, Farrah Fawcett, Alexis Arguello, Vernon Forrest, Arturo Gatti, Johnny Delgado, Francis Magalona, and many, many more.

In this year is the year of prosperity for our businessmen wherein the Global Crisis was surpassed. U.S. Markets rose and as well as the worldwide markets. Oil prices go down and the world markets will regain more points in 2010.

Who will not forget Taylor Swift and Kanye West. Yes, Taylor was truly one of the best artist this year for granting every country listener's wish. To garner more awards in every single music award. Until the VMA's came by. Kanye interrupted Taylor and murmuring that Beyonce is way better than her. Sure pretty embarrassing around there.

In the world of sports, well, Barcelona seems to be the best soccer team so far for garnering 6 awards this year alone, especially the FIFA Gala Award. They got the UEFA Champions League trophy by beating my favorite team, Manchester United, La Liga title and numerous awards for Lionel Messi. It is also the year of Cristiano Ronaldo. The Big Trade occured. The Big 3 transferred to Real Madrid but they were having their problems especially injuries.

Manny Pacquiao had a great year as well. Starting off the year by beating Ricky Hatton devastatingly via 2nd Round KO and a scintillating finish over Miguel Cotto in 12 rounds. By beating Miguel Cotto, he broke boxing history by winning his seventh world title, in seven weight classes, and clinched to one of the All-Time Greats. He's now ready to face Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and it will be one of the big paydays and biggest showdown next year if it occurs but problems regarding Roger's and Floyd's doubts of Manny that he is using steroids. Pacquiao sued them together by defamation.

Kobe and the gang are back and the Lakers back in championship ways by winning the NBA Title for the 15th time, second best achievement after Boston Celtics winning their 17th last 2008. They beat Orlando Magic in six games. Kobe Bryant named the Finals MVP.

Who will forget every Filipino's shocking experience during Ketsana, and Parma's visit in the country. In myself, this will be one of the most traumatic experience in my entire life wherein I was stucked 14 hours inside the bus with no food, no water, no peeing. Ketsana alone had an equivalent of 1-month amount of rainfall, that's why it was easily flooded every street around the whole Luzon area. It was simply signal No. 1 and Parma was in Category No. 5 or Signal No. 4 here in our weather systems.

We ended the year by this Maguindanao Massacre that shocked worldwide media, where the accused Andal Ampatuan Jr. and the rest of Ampatuan clan killed 58 people last November 23, during his rival Toto Mangudadatu sign his certificate of candidacy to face Ampatuan in Maguinadanao for next year's election. 70% of the civilians killed were part of the world of journalism. Tears poured on every Filipino's faces, including and for bring disappointed that now we are known as the nation worst in Iraq and Iran for worldwide journalists. A sad day for all of us.

And that's my Year In Review for 2009 and hope that in 2010 we will give us more prosperity and more peace to each of us. As I write this blog, it's already 10:24 PM, just more than 1 and half hours away till 2010. Fireworks and foods are everywhere.

So,

- Happy New Year to all!

- Manigong Bagong Taon sa ating lahat!

- Hyvää uutta vuotta!

- Chúc mng năm mi!

- Feliz Año Nuevo!

- Buon Anno!

Yours truly,

Ralph Jayson Cadiz Silang
